“Good Morning Scottsdale!” is heard LIVE, every Saturday morning, from 7-8AM, on Independent 1310 KXAM, and streaming live at www.kxam.com.  It’s a fun show about all good things
that make Scottsdale, Arizona THE PLACE TO LIVE, WORK, and PLAY.

This lively, Saturday morning “wake up call” is hosted by Kate & Rico Castro, of KXAM and The Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce. 

Kate, also known as Kathryne Castro, is the show’s producer,  and an account executive at KXAM.  She handles all types of advertising,  from 30-second commercials on “Good Morning Scottsdale,” or “Culinary Confessions,” to major advertising packages on the station.  She also handles independent programming with clients who have, or want to have their own talk show on KXAM on evenings or weekends.

Rico works full-time, in membership development for the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce.  Since November, 2006, he has become the “face” of the chamber, at all their networking and social events.  He helps all size companies, inside and outside of Scottsdale, grow their business by  joining the chamber, and helps the members get the most from their chamber membership.

Kate and Rico are long-time valley residents, and  understand the heart of an entrepreneur, after owning a successful business in Phoenix for 22 years.   They recognize professional people as complex human beings, community-minded, socially responsible, political animals and genuine family folks - and not just “strictly business.”  That’s why this show about Scottsdale appeals to listeners all over the valley.
